This garment is inspired by the stylish Julius "Jule" Rivlin of Wheeling, Class of '40. He was active in theater, Alpha Psi Omega, the Salesmen Club and was the vice president of the Varsity M Club, an athletic organization for people that had lettered in four sports. He was a tough competitor and the yearbook declares him as the "most outstanding Marshall basketball player of all time". We admire him here for his savoir-faire and the way he wields that ping-pong paddle. Jule had an outstanding career as a basketball coach, and has his own Wiki here.

The 1937 Heirloom Varsity Crew is a tri-blend fleece garment, giving it a casual silhouette a tailored look. This makes it perfect for wearing alone or pairing over a collared shirt. The side gussets offer a better fit and visual flair. The banded bottom and cuffs are traditional on a sweatshirt .
